My name is Catherine and I’m a second year graduate student in Biophysics! I live and work in San Francisco. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and baking and putting on dinner and dessert parties. I love foods with high visual impact. I am very proud of my cheesecake adaptation from Emeril Lagasse’s original recipe and I am extremely sad to report that my last attempt with my Martha Stewart Igloo-shaped cake mold was unsuccessful. I did my undergraduate work in San Diego and I really miss going to the beach. I love shopping with girlfriends, hanging out in the park, swing and salsa dancing, and reading good books. I have very sensitive skin, so I am also really interested in skincare and cosmetics ingredients, and have tried my hand (successfully! I might add) at making my own moisturizer. My birthday is April 5th.
